CCO and Ryerson University
Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) is a university student movement dedicated to evangelization. We challenge students to live in the fullness of the Catholic faith, with a strong emphasis on becoming leaders in the renewal of the world. CCO was founded at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1988 after receiving the approval of the local bishop. From a humble beginning of four students, the movement now serves hundreds of students on several campuses through a wide array of programs and outreach. Three CCO Staffers spoke their "Who's first?" walking through the doors of Ryerson University in the fall of 2013. Leading the team is Cheryl Lina. She is supported by Ben Turland and Megan Crowe. A formal invitation from Toronto's Cardinal Collins sparked excitement as preparations were made throughout 2012, headed by CCO staff Dan Freeman, for the following fall. With great hope and anticipation, CCO Ryerson invites you to be a part of their mission on campus.
